Green Goddess Burger

 

Ingredients

1 Bite Me Fine Foods Veggie Chickpea Burger Pattie

1-2 savoy cabbage leaves

1/2 cup fresh rocket

1/4 avocado

1 Wholegrain burger bun

 

For the dressing:

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

1/2 cup baby spinach

1/4 cup parmesan

2 tbsp toasted pine nuts

1 clove garlic, minced (or 1/2 clove if you prefer less garlic)

1 tsp hemp seeds

1 tsp lemon juice

1/8 cup olive oil

1/4 cup vegan mayo

Salt + pepper to taste

 

 

Method

  1. Combine all dressing ingredients in a high speed blender. Once combined, adjust consistency with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat Bite Me Fine Foods Veggie Chickpea Burger Pattie in a sandwich press for 5 minutes, or until crisp on both sides.
  3. Compile burger – add Veggie Chickpea Burger Pattie, cabbage leaves, rocket, sliced avocado and drizzle basil dressing onto bun.
  4. Enjoy!
