With Bite Me Fine Foods Falafels

Ingredients
- 1 packet of Bite Me Fine Foods Vegetarian Falafels 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the thick-cut pastry:
- 2 cups gluten free plain flour
- 1⁄2 tsp baking sods
- 1⁄4 cup chilled water
- 200g organic grass fed butter
- (Alternatively you can use pre-made gluten free puff pastry sheets)
Method
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
- In a medium size bow, combine flour and baking soda.
- Add butter and knead until mixture is crumbly.
- Add water and continue to knead until dough forms.
- Place in refrigerator for 5-10 minutes or until firm.
- With a rolling pin, roll 1 tbsp of dough mixture at a time in a rectangle. Place Bite Me Fine Foods falafel in the middle and fold over pastry and press down on each side to form a pouch. Make sure pastry is quite thin, unless you prefer it thick.
- Continue for remaining Falafels in the packet and place on lined baking tray.
- Lightly brush each falafel roll with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until crisp.
- Serve with organic tomato sauce!
